The next time you pull wires through holes underneath your train set consider using Alpha Precision's sanding needles. Once a hole is drilled, I found these sanding needles extremely useful in removing burrs and excess wood. Simple spin the needles around and rub against the edges of the hole. By reversing the needle, using the sharp edge first, you can poke holes quite easily. A versatile tool.
