Subject: Dungeons and Dragons Castle meets the world of Lionel Trains

When my son was growing up he enjoyed visiting a store called Games Workshop. There he played games such as Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons. As one would expect he purchased (or I purchased) figures that needed painting. You can see many of them under the Role Playing section of this forum. There was one item he got that really stood out - a castle - complete with gate and towers. I told him long ago that I would incorporate it into my train set. Well, he grew older and his interest waned and construction of my train set took longer than expected until we eventually moved. Now, settled in our new home, I decided the castle was long overdue for a place in my new train set. The castle now occupies its own corner complete with spot lights (Lionel Yard Lights) and Bachmann trees. I am pleased to say that my son's RPG figures will soon occupy the walls and towers. More photos to come once the rest of the scenery is complete.
